The finish – rattan
We have two types of all-weather wicker, and Coleton’s is the more contemporary of the two. It has a smooth finish and is darker in colour, like on our Tresco, Toulston and Harrington designs.
The materials – glass
To make it more practical – and to stop crumbs from gathering between the fibres – it’s topped with toughened glass. You can also choose to remove the glass for when it’s acting as a seat over a table.
The materials – rattan
Coleton’s made with a woven resin fibre we call ‘all-weather wicker’ – it’s got the same look as natural rattan, but it’s happy being left outside and will make your life much easier (as well as having a longer lifespan).
Design details
Underneath the rattan-like weave, Coleton has a sturdy but lightweight aluminium frame. It doesn’t just give it strength, but it makes it that piece you can just pick up and perch on wherever you like. It’s also got adjustable feet – perfect for uneven garden paving so your table (or seat) won’t wobble.
Where we see it
Next to an outdoor armchair so you have somewhere to set down a drink or book. Next to your garden sofa with a garden lantern and candles on top. Or even a few Coleton side tables dotted around your garden with plant pots on top, ready to spring into action as extra seats around the table when you need them.
