Inspired by classic, formal wooden beds, Chichester features ornate finials on each headboard post. The upholstered headboard gives it a soft, welcoming feel and the painted finish keeps it up to date. The sprung slatted base ensures support, while the decorative arched footboard allows for underbed storage.

Design notes

Designed to align with your mattress for a divan-style fit.
Frame secured with durable mortise-and-tenon joinery.  
Sturdy clips lock the birch slats in place.  
Hand-finished with a customisable eggshell paint.  
Headboard finials are removeable and interchangeable flat ones are supplied.
Recessed section at the bottom of the headboard allows for the mattress.
Linara is a sumptuous blend of natural linen and cotton.

Design inspiration

Our co-founder John and creative founder Emma turned to antique shops and reclamation yards to furnish their first home. They were drawn to classic Georgian furniture, and the pieces they chose inspired Chichester – our first interior collection. This influence is evident in Chichester’s traditional farmhouse feel and its defining features including elegant proportions, decorative mouldings and carved skirting.

Smaller parcel deliveries:

Standard delivery fee: £6.95 for orders under £150 (€30 for orders under €250 in Ireland).
Next day delivery: £9.95, available on parcel deliveries to the UK only. Order before 1pm, no minimum spend.
Free standard delivery: on orders over £150 (€250 in Ireland).

Standard parcel deliveries to mainland UK for in-stock items will arrive within 5 days via our approved couriers.
