Balancing farmhouse style with the practicalities of modern living is the freestanding Chichester chopping block. The board itself is formed from end-grain oak, which creates a hard-wearing surface that will preserve the sharpness of your knives. The block and its oak frame lift out from their painted tulipwood base, so they are easier to clean and can double as a serving tray.

Design inspiration

Known as one of the original Neptune designs, the chopping block was created after our co-founder John and creative founder Emma were inspired by a Georgian version they discovered in an antique shop. Notable for its tongue and groove detailing and strength, they drew on these characteristics for the Chichester chopping block but updated it with space-saving storage, a removeable board and a useful drainage groove.

Use our Surface Spray to clean the oak.
We advise against submerging the chopping block in water and using standard soaps or detergents.

Smaller parcel deliveries:

Standard delivery fee: £6.95 for orders under £150 (€30 for orders under €250 in Ireland).
Next day delivery: £9.95, available on parcel deliveries to the UK only. Order before 1pm, no minimum spend.
Free standard delivery: on orders over £150 (€250 in Ireland).

Standard parcel deliveries to mainland UK for in-stock items will arrive within 5 days via our approved couriers.
