The finish

These mirrors come in Off White as standard, with a gently distressed finish that complements their nautical design. You can choose to customise yours in any of the colours from our paint collection, but bespoke colours will have a solid rather than distressed finish.

The materials

The frame is made from paulownia: a lightweight hardwood (so the mirror isn’t too heavy) with a grain that’s easy to carve into (ideal for creating Buckingham's detail). It’s also a little rougher than the tulipwood we usually use, to give this mirror a gently worn texture. It’s by far the fastest growing, deciduous hardwood tree in the world. And a single plantation can be harvested several times offering a sustainable, renewable source of timber.

Ways to use it

Mirrors create a sense of space – hung at the end of a short hallway, they’ll add depth; hung either side of a narrow hallway, they’ll add width. They boost natural light – so position one opposite a window in a dark hallway or a dark corner of a room. A mirror can create an interesting focal point – place one behind a special object you want to highlight, and so create a reflection of it in another part of the room.

Next day delivery: £9.95, available on parcel deliveries to the UK only. Order before 1pm, no minimum spend.
