The larger of our Chichester open washstands will make for a traditional centrepiece in a guest bathroom or master ensuite. Its countertop basin and solid oak top surface gives it a relaxed farmhouse feel, while the tongue and groove undershelf lends itself to storage baskets. The single drawer is shaped to allow for the wastepipe and divided to house smaller toiletries.

Design inspiration

When our co-founder John and creative founder Emma travelled through the Italian region of Umbria, they stayed on a farm where the olive grower used a rustic table with a pudding bowl on top as a washstand. They loved the simplicity of the idea and adapted it to suit our Chichester collection. With a ceramic sink, solid oak surface and painted base, this washstand balances a traditional look with modern function.

Care

Our oak furniture is protected by our IsoGuard® treatment, designed to repel water and provide short-term protection against spillages. For best results, promptly wipe away any liquid to avoid staining.
Dust furniture regularly with dry e-cloth and gently remove marks with a damp one as needed.
For a deeper clean, our surface soap is specially formulated to efficiently remove dirt and marks without removing the protective IsoGuard® finish.
Avoid standard furniture cleaners and polishes, as these may damage the finish.
To maintain a well-loved Neptune piece, our care kit and treatment oil can be used every couple of years to refresh furniture and keep it looking its best.

Delivery

Smaller parcel deliveries:

Standard delivery fee: £6.95 for orders under £150 (€30 for orders under €250 in Ireland).
Next day delivery: £9.95, available on parcel deliveries to the UK only. Order before 1pm, no minimum spend.
Free standard delivery: on orders over £150 (€250 in Ireland).

Standard parcel deliveries to mainland UK for in-stock items will arrive within 5 days via our approved couriers.

Larger furniture deliveries:

Delivered through our Neptune Home Delivery Service, with charges based on the required service level. See our full delivery policy for details.
Made-to-order or unavailable items will be dispatched upon arrival at our warehouse, or we’ll contact you to arrange delivery.
