This base is a classic option for when you want to keep a parasol securely in place – it’s the more traditional of our two bases. Its simple, domed design and mix of stone and metal is timeless and will work in any setting.

Materials and finish

This base is made from incredibly strong steel and concrete. To help protect from rusting or tarnishing, the steel is powder coated, with a black pigment and satin finish. The sandy, pale-toned concrete, meanwhile, complements the canvas we use for our parasol canopies and seat cushions.

Using the base

A base is an essential, your parasol will stand in the centre of a dining table (the only exception is our Cayton table) and we suggest a parasol lock to be extra secure.

Delivery

Orders over £150 (or €250 in Ireland) qualify for free delivery.
For orders under £150 (or €250 in Ireland), a delivery fee of £6.95 applies (£30 in Ireland).
If your order is in stock and eligible for parcel delivery to mainland UK, one of our approved couriers will deliver it within 5 days.
For larger products, we offer our White Glove Service delivery within 21 days (mainland UK and Northern Ireland only).
For items with an estimated delivery timeframe, we’ll either dispatch them upon arrival or contact you to arrange delivery.
If you’re ordering outside mainland UK or Northern Ireland, we ship through our international delivery partners. Please refer to our full terms and conditions for more details.
