What should I do to prepare for my delivery?
Before your delivery, please ensure the space where your furniture will be placed is clear and accessible. This will allow our team to deliver and install your pieces efficiently. If your furniture requires a particularly large or awkward space, please inform us in advance so we can plan accordingly.
Can I schedule a specific delivery time?
Yes, we offer flexible delivery windows, and our bookings team will work with you to schedule a time that is most convenient. Once your order is confirmed, our customer experience team will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date and time.
Why does my furniture have adjustable legs?
Adjustable legs on pieces like the Suffolk, Farlow, and Borough collections are designed to ensure that your furniture remains level, even on uneven floors. The process is quick and straightforward, and our skilled delivery team will be happy to assist you in adjusting the legs to the ideal height and level upon arrival.
What does levelling mean?
Levelling refers to the process of ensuring that your cabinet or piece of furniture is perfectly horizontal, which is essential for proper door alignment and smooth operation. If a cabinet is not level, you may notice that the doors bind, with one door at the top and the adjacent one at the bottom catching on the frame. This can cause difficulty when opening or closing the doors. If your floors are uneven, our skilled delivery team will be able to level the cabinet for you upon arrival, ensuring that everything works smoothly and looks its best.
What happens once my freestanding furniture is levelled?
Once your freestanding furniture has been levelled, you may notice increased shadow gaps underneath, particularly before skirtings and structural legs are added. This is a natural result of the levelling process. However, this can easily be rectified as our freestanding cabinetry comes with adjustable Neptune cabinetry legs. These legs can be fine-tuned during installation to ensure the perfect fit, eliminating any gaps and providing a seamless, polished look once everything is in place.
