With its rounded, laid-back shape, Compton has a cosy feel to it that’s just right for country gardens (although you could just as easily use it to soften a modern balcony). It’s made from a material that mimics willow and rattan, in natural tones that are easy to live with and complement stone or timber.

The materials

This coffee table’s made with a woven resin fibre we call ‘all-weather wicker’ – it’s got very much the same look as natural rattan, but it’s happy being left outside and will make your life much easier (as well as having a longer lifespan). To make it more practical – and stop crumbs from gathering between the fibres – it’s topped with toughened glass that wipes clean.

Design details

Purbeck’s edges are neatly finished with a line of plaited wicker. The legs have small plastic feet to protect them from dirt, moisture and scuffs and make the table easier to move. And the glass top’s secured with almost invisible rubber ‘suckers’.

Where we see it

As it’s one of our smaller outdoor coffee tables, purbeck’s great for more intimate settings with our compact Purbeck armchairs. Or you can make it feel more generous by having two together with the Purbeck sofa.

Orders over £150 (or €250 in Ireland) qualify for free delivery.
For orders under £150 (or €250 in Ireland), a delivery fee of £6.95 applies (£30 in Ireland).
If your order is in stock and eligible for parcel delivery to mainland UK, one of our approved couriers will deliver it within 5 days.
For larger products, we offer our White Glove Service delivery within 21 days (mainland UK and Northern Ireland only).
For items with an estimated delivery timeframe, we’ll either dispatch them upon arrival or contact you to arrange delivery.
