The timber’s protected with Seasoned Oak IsoGuard which reflects the natural silvering of oak over time. Its understated aesthetic, with a clean-cut edge profile, is inspired by Shaker principles of simple beauty and utility, truth to materials and honesty in design.

Design inspiration

Originally inspired by antique Shaker furniture found in Suffolk, the collection is rooted in this 18th-century movement which emphasised the importance of utility and honesty in design. The Shaker influence is highlighted through the collection’s classic yet pared-back feel and considered design details including turned legs and recessed door panels.

    • Orders over £150 (or €250 in Ireland) qualify for free delivery.  
    • For orders under £150 (or €250 in Ireland), a delivery fee of £6.95 applies (£30 in Ireland).
    • If your order is in stock and eligible for parcel delivery to mainland UK, one of our approved couriers will deliver it within 5 days.
    • For larger products, we offer our White Glove Service delivery within 21 days (mainland UK and Northern Ireland only).
    • For items with an estimated delivery timeframe, we’ll either dispatch them upon arrival or contact you to arrange delivery.
    • If you’re ordering outside mainland UK or Northern Ireland, we ship through our international delivery partners. Please refer to our full terms and conditions for more details.

    Suffolk started with an antique chair in a B&B in Devon. That chair’s honest use of materials and craft, as well as its unique design details, became the springboard for this timeless Shaker style collection.
