Sustainability
Sustainably sourced, naturally beautiful
Using the finest materials is essential for creating durable designs. From responsibly sourced timber to biodegradable fibers, each choice reflects our commitment to nature, ensuring our designs are both beautiful and kind to the planet.
Natural timbers
We never use MDF or chipboard in our designs. Instead, we craft our cabinetry with solid timber frames and super-strong birch ply panelling, while our furniture is made from oak or tulipwood.
Natural and biodegradable materials
98% of the materials we use are natural, from rattan and jute to wool, timber and marble. Wherever possible we choose biodegradable and recyclable materials that reduce waste and support a healthier planet by naturally decomposing and replenishing the ecosystem.
Sustainable forests
Our timber is sourced from fully traceable, sustainable forests in the US and Canada, with replanting initiatives ensuring more trees are planted than used. We also partner with woodland creation charity, Stump Up For Trees, supporting reforestation projects closer to home.
Eco-friendly finishes
We use natural protective oils, water-based paints, and low-VOC finishes free from harmful solvents, reducing environmental impact while preserving the integrity of our materials.
